Leader 480

The Leader 480 ARF is the perfect model for intermediate to advanced pilots looking for a model that is
compact in size yet capable of performing crisp, precise aerobatics.
Constructed from lightweight balsa and plywood the Leader 480 has a generous wing area and a light
wing loading for enhanced low speed handling.

Designed for the E-flite Park 480 Brushless Outrunner motor powered by a 3S 1800 -2100mAh LiPo this lightweight model has an impressive high speed performance allowing pilots to perform a wide range of F.A.I pattern aerobatics in a relatively smaller "box" in the sky, whilst the dual aileron servos maintain smooth control thoughout.

The two-piece wing allows for easy transport and assembles with a strong aluminium wing tube, however the models size allow it to be transported to the flying field in one piece. Once assembled access to the flight batteries, servos etc is easily achieved through the large magnetic canopy hatch without the need to remove the wing.

A pre-formed sprung wire tricycle landing gear ensures excellent ground handling and minimises the risk of damage from rough landings. Covered in a striking UltraCote colour scheme the model is finished off with a pre-painted fibreglass motor cowl.
