E-flite’s Sukhoi SU-26M is based on the highly successful single-seat aerobatic plane from the former Soviet Union. Powered by a Vedneyev M14 nine cylinder radial engine the SU-26 has mid-mounted straight wings and a fixed landing gear mounted on a solid titanium arc.

This first class aircraft has excellent acceleration, rate-of-climb, controllability and the structural integrity to endure high levels of positive and negative g-loads. The Sukhoi design also incorporates a cockpit that allows the pilot an all-round field of view which is critically important for handling within the limited flying space allowed during aerobatic competition.

The Sukhoi SU-26 made its first flight in June 1984 and with further modifications to the tail surfaces and conversion to a three-blade propeller the aircraft won both the men's and women's team prizes at the 1986 World Aerobatics Championships and has been wining titles ever since.

This super scale aerobatic model offers modelers the chance to experience the thrills of unlimited aerobatics with an almost-ready-to-fly electric model that wont “break-the-bank” getting into the air.
Designed by world-class competition pilot Mike McConville the model features a lightweight balsa and plywood construction for durability and accuracy, which is then covered in a striking tri-colour UltraCote™ trim scheme of purple, orange and white. This then all paired with a matching pre-painted fiberglass cowl with the distinctive “Sukhoi” cooling louvers moulded in.

Powered by an E-flite 480 brushless motor the model features excellent acceleration coupled with stunning vertical performance and thanks to its lightweight construction, light wing loading and excellent aileron control. The SU-26M is able to perform lightning fast rolls, rolling harriers, loops and snap rolls, spins and inverted flight, in fact any manoeuvre that you can think of and more!

The SU-26M comes out of the box with plug-in wings, a pre-installed tail wheel assembly, pre-painted landing gear and a large magnetic canopy hatch providing easy access to quickly change battery packs between flights.
E-flite’s illustrated assembly guide and comprehensive hardware pack complete this superb model.

So if you are looking for a smaller electric powered full-blown aerobatic model then look no further the Sukhoi SU26 does it all!

In the world of competition aerobatic airplanes, the Russian Sukhoi SU-26m is the equivalent of a top fuel dragster that can turn on a dime. Its combination of absurd amounts of horsepower, light weight, rugged construction, and amazing agility allows aggressive pilots to perform to the limits of their physical endurance.

The E-flite Sukhoi SU-26m is a scaled-down version of the Hangar 9 Sukhoi SU-26MM designed by world-class IMAC competitor Mike McConville. The E-flite SU-26m features an exceptionally lightweight airframe that was designed around the powerful Park 480 BL outrunner motor (sold separately). As with the full-scale Sukhoi, this combination of lightweight construction and prodigious power gives the E-flite SU-26m unlimited performance that is ideally suited for 3D aerobatics.
