Shoestring 15e ARF

The Shoestring 15e EF1 Racer is a speedy electric powered sportster that whilst perfect for serious racers participating in club-level pylonracing, is equally at home as a sport flyer. This 15-size airplane not only delivers high-speed performance, it also has the classic racer looks of the original Goodyear Formula One racers of the 1970s and 80's.

The model features a mid-wing design constructed of lightweight balsa and plywood and is exceptionally easy to assemble thanks to the extensive amount of prefabrication. Ultracote™ covered components are colour matched to the pre-painted motor cowling and easy access to flight batteries is via a secure battery hatch. The included racing pilot figure adds an extra touch of realism.

The Shoestring may be powered with either the Power 15 BLMotor or the Power 25 BL Motor setup. The latter is ideal for exceptional sport aerobatics or pylon racing but note, the 2-piece plug-in wing will require two aileron servos for precise high speed control if flown with that set-up.
