Thelarge, reflective LCD screen with a resolution of 300 x 128 dots isintegrated seamlessly into the high-quality case, and constitutes theessential hub of the system. The software is operated using the 3-Dhotkey in conjunction with a four-way rocker (cross-key), supported bya graphical user interface.
Digital stick trims eliminate the need for adjusting the trims or storing trim values when you switch model memories.
Aposition indicator displays the trim value on the LCD screen in theform of a bar graph. In its standard form the transmitter is fullyexpanded, with three analogue rotary controls and eight switches, andrequires no additional accessories.

The menu system andsystem programming are based on the same software structure as its "bigsister", the T14MZ. The program data is compatible between (T12Z<=> T14MZ/FX-40) and convertible with a free downloadmodel-data-converter software.
The first step is always to choose amodel type and wing type, and these selections automatically configurethe appropriate mixer functions and the sequence of control functions.
Itcould hardly be easier. Internally the transmitter features 25 modelmemories, and more can be stored on the Data Pack card (CF card), whichis used as an expandable memory medium. Around 132 kB of memory is usedfor each model memory with eight flight modes, which means that a CFcard with a capacity of only 32 MB can already store data for around240 models. The modulation is selectable and compatible with PCM 1024,PCM 2048 (G3) and FM (PPM) 8 -12 channel (separate RF-Module MZ-FM35/40 MHz is necessary).

  • Offset function and fine adjustment using external mixer adjustment via rotary knob, switch or stick. Optional group mode (effective in all flight modes) or single mode, (effective only in a relevant flight mode).
  • Alternatively, each programmmable mixer can be switched from a curve mixer to – Offset mode. This Offset mixer permits the mixing of up to 4 Offset values per programmable mixer, with separate delay and speed settings for switching mixer to affect freely selectable functions.

Model helicopters

 

  • The basic difference between the various mixer menus for model helicopters is the method of swashplate actuation. All the classic linkage types are included as standard: H1, H2, HR3, HN3, H4 and the new H3 90° and H3 140° Every imaginable mixer function is available in these menus.
  • A special feature is the new form of variable pushrod travel compensation for the H3 and H4 types. This function eliminates a common problem found with unequal travels, which can result in servo damage can occur in the long term, when travels are fairly large or asymmetrical. The speed of the pitch-axis (elevator) function can also be adjusted, in order to avoid the run-time differences with the HR3/HN3 120° swashplate linkage.
